Our facility sits on Ironwood Drive in South Salt Lake, roughly 20 minutes north of Sandy on I-15, and our technicians run the south valley route regularly. We are happy to collect rugs and other delicate textiles from any Sandy neighborhood. Oversize rugs are no trouble thanks to our large box-style trucks, and when a rug is too large or too stiff to roll, we fold it for transport instead so the foundation is not stressed.
Sandy customers are also welcome to bring rugs directly to our office Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. If those hours do not work with your schedule, call us and we will arrange a drop off before or after. The visit takes only a few minutes. We unload the rug for you, inspect it together so you can point out any spots or odors you are concerned about, have you fill out a short information sheet, and send you on your way.

About Sandy, Utah
Sitting about 15 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City at the base of the Wasatch, Sandy is one of the largest cities in Salt Lake County and one of the most convenient places in Utah to reach the mountains. The city rests at an elevation of 4,449 feet and recorded a population of 96,904 in the 2020 census.
Sandy was founded in 1871 and incorporated in 1893. Its name came from the loose, sandy soil that early farmers along State Street struggled to work. Farming was never what built the city. Silver was. Ore hauled down out of Little Cottonwood Canyon from the mining camps at Alta moved through Sandy on its way to smelters and rail lines, and the town grew into the supply hub for everything happening in the canyon above it. When mining faded, Sandy shifted into the residential and commercial center it is today.
Residents and visitors have plenty to do without leaving city limits. Sandy is home to the Shops at South Town, the Jordan Commons dining and entertainment complex, the Mountain America Exposition Center, and America First Field, the soccer stadium that opened in 2008 and hosts Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC.
The bigger draw is east of town. The mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon sits at Sandy’s edge, putting Alta and Snowbird within a short drive for skiing, hiking, and climbing. Bell Canyon Trailhead and the reservoir above it stay busy from spring through fall, and Dimple Dell Regional Park gives the middle of the city miles of open trail.
That access comes with a cost for rug owners. Fine granite sand from the canyons rides in on shoes and settles into the base of the pile, winter road salt leaves a haze on wool, and long summer afternoons at this elevation are hard on natural dyes.
