Price Many people’s main consideration when looking for a service or product is the price. However, this is a dangerous game when it comes to carpet cleaners. If a company offers you a cheap price, you risk one of two problems by taking them up on it- they may do poor work, or they may end up added last minute fees to the original quote. Always ask the company if there are any additional fees you should know about before agreeing to have work done.   2. Cleaning Method Different companies will have different methods for cleaning your carpet, but at a bare minimum their method should include the five main principles of carpet cleaning as outlined by the IICRC.   Dry Soil Removal This is usually accomplished through vacuuming before other cleaning equipment is employed.   Soil Suspension This is the use of a pretreatment to “suspend” soils from the carpet fibers.
